 Cleanse

-Brush out any tangles BEFORE getting wet to avoid matting.  It is easiest to section off the hair before getting into the shower.

-Gently scrub your scalp using the pads of your fingers and make sure to get in between rows.

-Rinse Thoroughly

-Apply conditioner mid-length to ends and let sit for a few minutes to give optimal moisturization.

-It is recommended to use a mask weekly.

          BRUSH

-To properly Brush I recommend sectioning off and exposing the bottom row first. Hold the seam of the weft with one hand and gently brush with a detangling brush or extension safe brush starting at the bottom and working your way up.  Be sure to brush at the weft line with an extension safe brush to take the best care of and prolong the life of your wefts and avoid matting at the weft line.

-NEVER brush across the seams of the wefts. They are very delicate because they are hand-tied and the brush bristles can cause damage.

-Drop down the next row and repeat the process starting at the bottom and working your way up.

       BLOW-DRY

Now that you have more hair it will likely take longer to dry.

-First gently squeeze as much moisture as you can out of the hair with a towel.

-Next, get 80% of the moisture out of your hair using only your hands and blow dryer  Make sure to point the blow dryer down toward your ends to cut down on tangles and promote smoothness.

-Once your hair is 80% dry you can then use a round brush or paddle brush to style your extensions with minimal tension.

-I do not recommend air-drying your extension. Air drying any hand-tied wefts can lead to chaffing on the scalp and possible mildew issues. If you must air-dry make sure to hit the seams of the wefts to ensure the weft line is dry.

SLEEP

-ALWAYS properly brush before going to bed.

-Putting your extensions in braids or a loose bun is recommended to prevent pulling and tangling on the hair.

-For extra precaution use a silk pillowcase or wrap head in silk scarf.

POOL AND SWIMMING CARE

-SPF that is not mineral based can stain hair extensions. Particularly blonde hair is susceptible to discoloration. It is possible for any color to notice added brassiness or discoloration. I recommend only using a MINERAL BASED SUNSCREEN!

-A sunhat is recommended to help stop color fading when in sunlight for prolonged periods of time.

-BEFORE YOU SWIM wet your hair with clean water and apply conditioner to create a barrier and provide some protection against the harsh chemicals in pools or the salt in ocean water.
